IER’s specialised single & 3 phase Drive sections are used to carry out the majority of our repair practises.

These Drive sections are equipped with the capability to partially, or fully, functionally test the electronic equipments repaired. The reparations circuit, linked to a motor or suited resolver or encoder, tests the quick stop and ramp up & down capabilities of the unit, as frequently as possible.

When a drive or inverter is repaired by IER, ranging from a 0.37KW to 1000KW, our team of specialists will go above & beyond fault finding expectations and carry out preventative maintenance practises. Bearings & fans are replaced & cleaned as electrolytic capacitors, prone to deterioration, are typically upgraded from 85 ° C units to 105 ° C. An IER inverter repair is attested by customers to be more reputable and reliable than using a new unit.
