The IER specialist Drive section is specifically equipped to carry out the repairs and then functionally test the ramp up & down and quick stop - using open and closed loop where appropriate.
Repair types include Inverters, DC Drives, Soft Starts, Lift Drives, AC & DC Servo’s, Spindle Drives, Stepper Drives and Switched Reluctance.
IER have successfully repaired over 10000 drives, which have been backed by our unique 2-year warranty.
When IER repair a drive (anything ranging from a 0.37KW to 1000KW) our experienced engineers will go way beyond just fault finding and carry out any preventative maintenance. Fans or bearings are cleaned or replaced and any electrolytic capacitors that may be subject to deterioration are also replaced and normally upgraded from 85 degrees centigrade to 105. Our customers believe that an IER repair is more reliable than a new unit.

component suppliers, which enable our
engineers to effectively complete the repairs promptly.
Obsolete parts are often located via our suppliers or from our own stock of strategic spares. IER hold in stock parts from many scrapped Inverters, DC Drives, Soft Starts, Lift Drives, AC & DC Servo’s, Spindle Drives, Stepper Drives, etc.
